    Day Parade:  Parade begins at the corner of San Fernando Mission Blvd & Laurel Canyon  Blvd.

     Sunday, November 21, 2010 noon ~ 3:00: 12th Annual Thanksgiving Festival

       NOON until 3:00 p.m. in front of "THAT HOUSE" on Beacon (between 8th Street & James Woods).  Please join us for good food, services, fun, entertainment, and so much more.  People In Progress will feed over 2000 homeless and low income people from our service area, at the 12^th Annual Thanksgiving Festival. “New Elements Community Treatment” outreach teams will drive into the Skid Row area to bring people to the festival where they will be served a complete, hot traditional Thanksgiving meal. Information about or emergency shelter, veterans program, and alcohol and drug treatment programs will be distributed and we will facilitate immediate transportation to services.
